We picked Rust for the backend because it's fast and memory-safe. API responses stay under a few milliseconds, and we don't worry about runtime crashes. React on the frontend because the ecosystem is deep and it handles complex UIs well. PostgreSQL because it just works, and we haven't found a reason to use anything else.
